Assembly workstations ideally tailored to processes. RK supplies a large selection of assistance systems (pick to light, poka-yoke, camera systems, cobots).
Ergonomics and the optimum coordination of all workflows are key features of the height-adjustable RK Easywork work tables from RK Rose+Krieger. This protects the well-being of employees and increases productivity. Because healthy employees are more productive, one of our ergonomically customised workstations is always a worthwhile investment!
These days, a very wide and varied range of demands are placed on manual assembly workstations, particularly in the area of small and medium-sized series – such as those typically used in the automotive supplier market. As well as ergonomics, an optimum combination of manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic assembly and inspection procedures represents the biggest challenge when designing a user-friendly workstation. Which is why RK Rose+Krieger developed its electrically height-adjustable and individually configurable workstations based on its complete modular system. The RK Easywork workstation system represents the perfect combination of the BLOCAN® aluminium construction profiles and the electrically powered RK lifting columns and their incorporation in high-quality table concepts. RK also offers a wide range of accessories, such as workplace lighting, storage systems and tools, all from renowned manufacturers. Customers can choose between the simplest static tables or configure their own special electrically height-adjustable solutions. The concept is rounded off with standardisable portals for mounting a wide variety of workstation-specific tools, materials and light solutions, and supply rails at the back of the table for the compressed air and power feed. The RK Easywork system stands apart from similar rival solutions due to its flexibility – from a simple workstation comprising standard components from the RK catalogue, through to complex, individually tailored solutions – the sky's the limit.
The new RK Easywork selection assistant helps potential customers configure their new workstation. Like the RK selection assistants for connecting and linear technology, it is easy to use and helps users design their ideal workstation in a few simple steps – without the need to download any software. First select the table: RK Rose+Krieger offers two different versions, a static and an electrically height-adjustable model. Customers can then select the correct portal to add additional components, such as lighting, grab containers, tools and power strips. A wide range of other accessories is also available: braces for additional reinforcement, drawers or optional ESD accessories for the table, as well as additional lighting, holders for grab containers, monitors, foot rests, standing aids and much more besides. The socket for the power feed can be adapted to suit the specific requirements of Switzerland, Great Britain and France. A wide range of table tops and optionally available screening enable countless design options. Based on the selection results or specific special requirements, our RK Rose+Krieger specialists offer users expert advice – not just with the design of the workstation on the basis of LEAN factors, but also with regard to options for subsequent changes, which determine the sustainable success of any solution. Once the customer has completed all options, the delivery period for a customised workstation is only a few days ex-works.
RK Rose+Krieger supplies assembly workstations which are tailored to specific demands and ergonomic considerations and can also be integrated into digital production environments as required. Not every production process can be automated in a practical manner. This applies above all to the manufacturing of complex products in small quantities with a high variability and working sequences and special solutions which cannot be automated in a practical manner. In order to be able to manufacture these kinds of products and perform these kinds of sequences efficiently, special workstations which can be integrated into the digital working environment, are required. They not only have to relieve the employee of physically demanding or monotonous tasks, but also have to help to ensure that the working sequences in question are implemented safely and flawlessly. Moreover, the reliability of assembly also has to be guaranteed in the event of an employee change – a particularly critical factor when it comes to quality assurance. Good ergonomics at the workstation also increases productivity and reduces absences due to illness.
The workstations can be equipped with various assistance modules in the interest of product quality. They ensure that the employee always assembles the correct components in the right order. RK Rose+Krieger works with various suppliers in the field of assistance systems (Pick-to-light, Poka Yoke, cognitive assistance systems) in order to be able to supply you with the optimum solution for your application.
